上周末的第1场托福考试，阅读简单，听力难度不低——其主要原因在于听力多选题相对来说比较多，错一个选项一整题的分被扣光😤，“杀分太狠”口语重复老题，写作部分难度一般，开放型题。

选择经验丰富但是没什么课堂讨论的教授

理由①：对于内向的学生更友好，比如我就是内向的学生，我更喜欢独自思考，不会让我在课堂上感到尴尬和紧张，能让我更加没有心理负担地去学习从而取得更好成绩。

Dr.Achebe：

Sometimes people choose to communicate in writing throughemail or through messaging apps while at other times theyprefer talking to others face-to-face or by phone. What is themostimportant factor to consider when deciding whether tocommunicatein writing or by speaking in the workplace? Why?

Kelly:

I think privacy is the biggest factor in choosing to communicatein writing or speaking at work. lf it's personal or confidential, it'sbetter to email or message instead of talking out loud whereeveryone can hear. My dad always emails his boss private stuffrather than discussing it in the open office. Writtencommunication lets you control who sees what you say.

Andrew:

I think the main factor in deciding to speak or write at work ishow well you know someone.lf you don't know a coworker thatwell, randomly showing up in their office to chat can interrupttheir workflow.lt's better to email new coworkers at first untiyou build more of a rapport. Once you're more familiar witheach other, face-to-face talks are easier and less disruptive.
