11.18托福考情 | 学术讨论新题来了，想拿高分这样写......

11月18日托福考试，虽然碰上不少新题，但整体难度还是在可控范围中，考后第1时间，也有不少同学给老师们报喜。

01 独立口语

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Restaurants should provide nutritional information about the food items on their menu. Use details and examples to explain your response.

思路解析

答法一：Agree

理由①：了解营养物质信息可以帮助人们更好地做选择——尤其是特殊人群，比如健身的人或者对某些食物过敏的人。

理由②：可以帮助人们选择有营养价值的食物，更健康——如果可以看到菜单的细节信息，一些高卡路里或者高胆固醇的食物就不会去选择，可以提醒自己要吃健康的东西，对身体有益。

答法二：Disagree

理由①：会增加餐厅对运营成本——比如需要去了解每个食物包含对营养物质，对于食物对要求和选择变高，对餐厅的要求变高。

理由②：很难去监控餐厅如实标注信息，有可能餐厅会菜单造假来吸引顾客。

02 学术讨论写作

Doctor Achebe:

In today's fast-paced academic and professional environments, opinions diverge regarding the efficacy of to-do lists. As a student striving to excel in your studies, what is your stance on this matter? Do you agree that to-do lists are beneficial tools for learning and work, or do you think otherwise? Please explain why you think so.

I agree. To-do lists have been instrumental in structuring my daily routine effectively. They serve as a roadmap, aiding in prioritizing tasks and ensuring productivity. Not only do they assist in organizing my schedule, but they also facilitate better time management. To-do lists provide a sense of accomplishment and direction, crucial for navigating through the demands of academics and work responsibilities.

Claire∶

While to-do lists offer structure, they might restrict spontaneity and flexibility. Each day unfolds with various unforeseen and interesting events. Embracing the day's spontaneity allows for unexpected opportunities and serendipitous moments. It's crucial to remain adaptable and open to unforeseen experiences, as they often bring valuable insights and learning.

思路解析

1.看完题目后，挑选出两位同学中可以回应的各一句话/一个点：

Claire：they might restrict spontaneity and flexibility.

Andrew：To-do lists provide a sense of accomplishment and direction.

2. 对部分引用内容进行完善：

Claire：to-do lists might restrict spontaneity and flexibility.

3.对应各自内容进行延伸/反驳：

反驳Claire的思路：主要不是to-do lists 限制→ 态度、行为更加影响 → 因为可以随时调整自己的时间表。

延伸Andrew的思路：不仅如此，还有很关键的作用 → 在deadline前提醒学生 → 以免耽误学业。
