托福阅读易中招选项“废话连篇”型

题海茫茫，各位同学在刷题的过程中一定遇到过一类选项看起来说的都对但选了必错。由于该类选项过于反骨，所以今天来帮大家梳理下套路。

在托福阅读中，句子简化题会中招的概率尤其大，错该类题型的同学在底层逻辑上犯的错误是忽略了“重点”。该类题目的要求为Which of the sentences below bestexpresses the essential information in the highlighted sentence in the passage? Incorrect choices change the meaning in important ways or leave out essential information.其中“ leave out essential information极易选到上文我们所说的“废话连篇”。以下题为例：

该类题型的解题思路主要围绕两部份，分别是逻辑+主干排除，下面我们结合这两点来梳理下思路

B选项无论是在逻辑上还是主干表意方面都与原文一致，但由于缺少原句中转折词but后的内容，只强调了次要部份即我们所说的“废话连篇”选项，导致该选项不符合题目要求，故可直接排除。

AC两选项虽包含but转折逻辑，但转折后的主干表意与原文不一致：

A转折后的因果逻辑（is attributed to）和原文不符

C转折后的比较逻辑（best）和原文不符

故该题选D

在整个梳理套路的过程中，我们强调了重中之重即逻辑对应，因此在检查选项时大家一定要记得抓重点，通过主要逻辑排除，避免选到“废话连篇”的选项哦
